Lease of unit for dive equipment and boat storage

Published

Description

The Underwater Archaeology Unit of the National Monuments Service (NMS) is seeking tenders for the provision of a suitable storage facility for its dive equipment, box trailer, and 5.3m Pioner Multi III Pro boat and trailer. Secure, dry accommodation of a sufficient size to house all equipment, enable a working area, washing and servicing facilities, and a secure, clean outdoor area are required. Overall the building needs to be circa 25m x 30m in extent with sufficiently large doors to accommodate the entry/exit of all vehicles, and additional space externally for two hardstand areas and adequate turning area for jeeps towing trailers or boats. The accommodation will need to have security by way of working alarm systems internally and externally, with recordable cameras. The facility would ideally be located behind electric gates, and have 24/7 access. A midlands or Munster-region, semi-urban location (for example an industrial park) with good access would be our preference. Good access is regarded as close proximity to a motorway or national primary road, with good sightlines in both directions.
