RSSB is planning to commission research to develop an outline strategy, for the migration to Future Railway Mobile Communication System (FRMCS) from Global System for Mobile Communications - Railway (GSM-R), to act as a starting point that identifies key stakeholders, GB specific challenges and opportunities, and key milestones laying the groundwork for a more detailed, phased roadmap that will follow. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
