Business Event to promote the New Procurement Act - Stroud District Council

Stroud District Council are holding an event to promote the Procurement Act to local businesses within Gloucestershire. This act comes into effect on Monday 24th February 2025 and the briefing aims to explain what you need to do to supply to the public sector. This event will be taking place on Thursday 26th September in the Restaurant at Ebley Mill, from 16.30 for networking and refreshments and presentation starting at 17:00. Representatives from the team leading our Crowdfunding project will also be presenting, as well as representatives from The Growth Hub to talk about their Net Zero Carbon support offer. If you are interested in attending, please email us at procurement@stroud.gov.uk . Parking is available in the new Ebley Wharf Car Park, situated on the approach to Ebley Mill. This is a pay and display car park, accepting coins, card and pay by phone payments. Attendees should not park in surrounding streets. Alternative free public car parks are available a short walk from Ebley Mill (Victory Park and Cainscross Car Parks). Please check prior to travel. Keywords: Event
