Provision of Autonomous Vehicle
Published
Description
HITRANS is seeking to engage an organisation to deploy and setup an autonomous shuttle in Inverness. The objective is to select and contract a company to provide a solution that covers the software, hardware, and fleet services. The solution must be able to be tested and validated and have the potential for large scale sustainable deployment after the project phase. Continuity of service provision is required until the anticipated project end date of 1st March 2023. The maximum AV trial duration within this time is 12 months. The location of the trial will be at Inverness Campus, working in partnership with the University of the Highlands and Islands and Highlands and Islands Enterprise. The route will be approximately a 2km roundtrip, connecting the Campus to a nearby Retail and Business Park. More detail can be found in the procurement documents.
