Procurement Act 2023: Webinar for suppliers & other external organisations by The Cabinet Office
Published
Description
Public procurement is changing. On 24 February 2025, the rules that shape how public bodies buy goods and services will change. The Procurement Act 2023 will introduce measures to improve and streamline the way procurement is done and benefit prospective suppliers of all sizes, particularly small businesses, start-ups and social enterprises. If your business supplies goods, works or services to organisations in the public or utility sectors – or hopes to do so in the future, you need to know about the changes. These webinars are aimed at suppliers and any other external organisation with an interest in public procurement. They will focus on what the key changes are, how the central digital platform will work (featuring a live demonstration), and will be an opportunity for you to ask questions on your own preparations for go-live. The sessions will be recorded and be made available via GOV.UK webpages for those unable to attend. Webinar 1: Thursday, 23 January at 10:30. Webinar 2: Friday, 24 January at 11:00. Sign up details and links for both webinars are detailed within the attached document Do not miss out on these sessions. These FREE webinars are designed to equip suppliers with the information and guidance to ensure you are ready! Keywords: procurement, supplier
