Bufdir is seeking a provider of security monitoring services to improve our security by increasing our detection capabilities and, if needed, provide support regarding unwanted incidents of a security nature. We live in a hybrid world with both cloud services and local data centres, so it is necessary that the SOC service has support for, and experience in, monitoring both types of systems. Bufdir has two ongoing contests within IT security: this contest as well as a contest for a framework agreement for the purchase of security consultancy, Doffin reference 2023-667991. https://www.doffin.no/Notice/Details/2023-667991 Bufdir intends to enter into an agreement with two different tenderers for these two contests. Bufdir conducted a thorough market survey in autumn/winter 2022, and received input from the market stating that it would be appropriate to separate security consultancy/consultancy services and security monitoring services (SOC/IRT) into two different contracts. Bufdir's intention in tendering security services in two contracts is to separate the deliveries, so that one tenderer cannot win both contracts. Bufdir would like the provider of security counselling services to be independent of the provider of operational security monitoring services (SOC/IRT).
