Published

Description

This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to advise prospective suppliers of the upcoming market engagement for Enterprise Asset Management software to manage the Tramway assets owned by the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA) and to invite them to participate in a pre-tender market consultation exercise. The aim of the exercise is to provide early information and gain feedback to help inform the proposed procurement and contracting strategy. Lot 1: The South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA) requires an Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) to provide the tool for seamless and integrated planning, implementation and reporting for asset management and control across the Tram System assets, which cover fixed (e.g. buildings), mobile (e.g. rolling stock) and linear (e.g. track infrastructure) assets. It is therefore a general purpose system that can be customised for work processes to specific classes of assets. The South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA) is a formal partnership of councils that shapes policy and leads on decision-making.
