Call for Tender for technical support in respect of plankton and larval identification

The primary purpose of this tender is the provision of expert guidance and identification in respect of phytoplankton, zooplankton and larval identification. The tenderer will be required to receive iodine preserved phytoplankton and zooplankton samples numbering approximately 20 per week over a 6-month period for identification and enumerations purposes. The tenderer must be available to provide onsite support during sampling and identification for 3 locations for a period of 15 days in total. The purpose of this onsite support is to provide in depth training and support to fish farms. The exact locations are yet to be determined but likely to be Killybegs, Co. Donegal, Clifden, Co. Galway and Bantry, Co. Cork. It is to be noted however that due to the nature of this project support may be required in any location along the coast of Ireland. Onsite mentoring and support may take place in remote locations where overnight stays may be required. This should be included for in the pricing schedule.
