His Majesty's Coastguard (HMCG) are looking for partners, to work within our communities, to deliver and assess HMCG driving standards, ensuring a national common approach to Driver Induction, and Light Vehicle on Road Driving Assessment. Identifying training needs/support requirements and recording them in a common format. Assessors must be familiar with the DVSA’s “National Standard for Driving Cars and Light Vans” and that the weighting of any shortcomings is in line with “Carrying out Driving Test – Examiner Guidance”. The Contracting Authority encourages bids from VCSE's (Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprises) in addition to suppliers from the local area's in which the requirements are being competed in. Lot Lot 1 - Division 1 (Scotland): His Majesty’s Coastguard is over 200 years old, growing and changing over time to meet both the needs of the communities they serve and also the UK’s international responsibilities, delivering a life-saving service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A principal objective is to continue the development of the organisation and its voluntary membership, who give up their time to train and respond to incidents. It is these volunteers that we are looking to support and develop in their driving-related roles. Lot Lot 2 - Division 2 (East of England & Midlands): His Majesty’s Coastguard is over 200 years old, growing and changing over time to meet both the needs of the communities they serve and also the UK’s international responsibilities, delivering a life-saving service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A principal objective is to continue the development of the organisation and its voluntary membership, who give up their time to train and respond to incidents. It is these volunteers that we are looking to support and develop in their driving-related roles.
