The Universal Postal Union (UPU) and the World Customs Organisation (WCO) have worked to create a system for sharing electronic customs pre-advice data. Complete and valid parcel data is now mandatory for all cross-border eCommerce. Post Office is exploring options and journeys to capture this data electronically as per the incoming standards. The means by which Post Office wish to capture responses to this Market Engagement is via completion of the Excel document which is attached to the opportunity (viewed via the above link). This should be completed and attached to Web3 under the Questionnaire section of the event. RESPONSE DEADLINE: Responses should be submitted via web3 by not later than 12pm (noon) on Thursday 27th October 2022. ---------------------- COMMUNICATIONS EVENT --------------------- Post Office intends to run a communications event via MS Teams on Monday 17th October 2022 at 2pm. This event is intended to support interested organisations understanding of the potential requirements. During the event, the members of the Post Office team shall review the presentation online and respond to any queries/clarifications you may have. In order to register for the event, please email procurement@postoffice.co.uk and include "ICDC Market Engagement Communications Event" in the subject. In your email, please include the following details: - Name of organisation - Name of person(s) wishing to attend - Job Title(s) of person(s) wishing to attend - Email addresses of person(s) wishing to attend Please confirm by not later than 12:00 noon on Friday 14th October 2022 if you wish to attend the event.
