Description

The Contracting Authority (Dublin City Council (DCC)) proposes to engage in a competitive process for the establishment of a Multi-Party Framework Agreement for Local Area Minor Construction Works for Dublin City Council. The following are the main elements of the Multi-party Framework Agreement for Local Area Minor Construction Works for Dublin City Council 2023-2027: Works that involve minor civil engineering, landscape/public realm works, and minor building works with contracts generally below €150k. to include; 1. Landscape/Public Realm/Minor Civil Engineering Works Site clearance, excavation, and minor earthworks, paving and insitu concrete works, paths, walls (stone/brick/concrete), railings, gates, bollards, street furniture (bike stands, benches, etc), drainage and integrated SUDS, signage, public lighting and utilities, removal of invasive species, play equipment, signage including plinths/engraved boulders, provision of outdoor electrical points/water connections and taps, telecoms connections, raised beds and planting, establishment maintenance of soft landscape areas, etc. 2. Minor Building Works : Minor demolitions and site clearance, excavation, erecting hoarding, scaffolding, extensions and renovations, glazing, electrical works including security lighting, CCTV, intruder alarms, plumbing works including air source heat pumps, welding, glazing, pointing of brick and stonework, painting, provision of containers, etc. This list is not exhaustive and will include other small works as required under the scope of the framework or works of a similar nature within the expertise of the chosen contractors. Contractors shall have the facilities to accept tender documents electronically when requested by the Framework Purchaser. The initial Contract will be the redevelopment of an existing Open Space located at Tulip Court/Primrose Grove, Darndale, Dublin 17.
