Each section starts with background information on our proposed approach followed by questions relating to it. Commercial arrangements The council is looking to maximise the opportunity to attracted private investment against our LEVI funding of £1.27M. As such we have set out an ambitious target of installing over 620 standard power (up to 8kW) charging sockets along with around 9 rapid chargepoints over 5 years. Due to the level of private investment we wish to attract, this opportunity will be provided through an 15 year concession contract which will include the installation of the chargepoints. It is expected that the chargepoints will be installed during the first 5 years of the contract.
