The University has a requirement to appoint a contractor to deliver the Social Sciences Connect Programme work (SSCP). This project is an enabler to position Warwick as a regional, national, and international powerhouse for social scientific enquiry with real-world application and impact. Also incorporated will be a 500m2 shared catering facility. Lot 1: The University of Warwick’s Campus Masterplan will ensure that Warwick can become one of the world’s exceptional and distinctive university campuses, transforming the learning, living and working experience of our students, staff and visitors, whilst supporting our local communities and providing connectivity to our region and beyond. In order to realise the vision, the Campus Masterplan is focused on achieving the following ambitions: • To form a vibrant learning, working and living community• To shape a distinctive University of Warwick identify that has a ‘cosmopolitan in the countryside’ feel• To create an accessible, inclusive and people focused environment• To transform regional transport connectivity to campus• To deliver as SMART carbon neural campus• To create a flexible framework for other development opportunities within the campus and beyondThe Social Sciences Connect ProgrammeThe Faculty of Social Sciences (FoSS) is made up of fourteen departments of a variety of sizes, 25 research centres and two cross-faculty centres spread across the Warwick campus.
