Description

Queen’s University of Belfast wishes to procure two multifunctional user friendly digital inverted microscopes equipped with standard imaging systems and monitors to be used in a broad range of undergraduate educational applications within CBMSE to include brightfield, a choice of at least three colour fluorescence, z-stack capability and phase contrast modality along with HDMI facility to connect to additional visual systems within the teaching laboratory setting. The microscope must have the versatility for undergraduate students to be able to use and view a range of samples including but not limited to microscope slides, multiwell plates and flasks that will support and future proof laboratory practical class teaching. CBMSE delivers high quality education in the biomedical sciences to undergraduate students equipping them for their professional careers in hospitals, diagnostic and research laboratories and the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
