Description

Notting Hill Genesis (NHG) is seeking expert fire professionals to provide consultancy services on fire safety and compliance matters. These services will be in respect of new-build residential and mixed use developments, as well as existing residential and mixed use buildings. The services will pertain to the design, construction, refurbishment, maintenance, and/or management of these developments and existing buildings. NHG wishes to establish a framework of suitable consultants and intends to proceed with the procurement of this framework in early 2020. This PIN has been issued in order to give the market advance notice of the opportunity, seek expressions of interest from suppliers that may wish to take part in the proposed procurement, and obtain views from suppliers to inform the procurement approach. — generally: expert consultant advice relating to fire safety design matters and fire strategies to assure compliance with current fire safety standards, — new build and regeneration developments — from RIBA Stage 1 to 3/4: to produce a fire strategy for the project, support the design team and process, support the planning application, and/or support the production of tender documents, — existing buildings: same as for new developments but for maintenance or refurbishment work, including cladding replacement. — generally: expert quality inspection services and advice relating to delivering fire safety compliance requirements of mixed use residential construction and system installation projects, — new build and regeneration developments — from contractor/developer appointment through to the end of the contracted defects liability period: to act on NHG’s behalf, typically as part of an independent, multi-disciplined, quality monitoring team in scrutinising, monitoring and reporting the quality and compliance of the contractor/developer’so technical design, construction/installation, commissioning and testing procedures, digital record and handover documentation. To deliver pre-occupation fire risk assessments, — existing buildings: same as for new developments but for maintenance or refurbishment work, including cladding replacement.
