Data for Safety (D4S) - Big Data and Analysis Services - Development (DEV) Phase

Description

Further to the successful proof-of-concept phase, which collected and analysed inputs from across the aviation system (including safety reports, flight data from air operators, traffic data from the ATM system plus weather data but any data sources, data sets or data bases that adds value to our understanding of the aviation landscape), the main objectives of the DEV phase of the Data4Safety programme, subject of this procedure, is to progressively expand the membership to more stakeholders of the European aviation system, scale-up in terms of data collection and analytics and get fully integrated in the operational processes of the European Union aviation safety risk management. The objective of this contract is the provision of big data and data analysis services. Lot 1: Data Collection and Big Data Platforms Services Provision to EASA and the Data4Safety (D4S) programme of hard- and software solutions for the establishment of data pipes, data collection and big data platforms as well as technical support to EASA, D4S experts and the lot 2 contractor. Lot 2: Data Analysis Services Provision of data analysis services and collaborative platform in support of EASA and Data4Safety collaborative data analysis activities.
