Initial Market Testing – Framework Agreement for Flooring Works

Swansea Council is looking for suitable contractors to carry out flooring works on various sites within the City & County of Swansea. The sites will consist of both Commercial/Capital and Domestic buildings. The framework will be split in to 2 Lots Lot 1- Domestic Properties/Responsive Maintenance (Minor Works) Lot 2 -Commercial Properties/Planned Works (Major Works) Lot 1: Lot 1- Domestic Properties/Responsive Maintenance (Minor Works) It is anticipated that Swansea Council will be setting up a framework of contractors to carry out this work and the purpose of this Prior Information Notice is to ascertain the best structure for the framework. It is anticipated that the framework will commence in December 2023 for 2 years, with an option to extend for up to 24 months. The Commercial aspect of the framework will be based around larger, planned works on multiple properties per call off project and the Domestic aspect will be based on responsive maintenance and repairs. The Council are anticipating that the Domestic side will be predominantly attractive to SME’s as the works are of a smaller scale.
