HIV and BBV Prevention and Support Framework Market Engagement

Published

Description

Newham Council is the North East London (NEL) lead for all matters related to the commissioning of Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services. The need for HIV and BBV Prevention and Support services remains clear: new cases of HIV are rising, the proportion of residents diagnosed with HIV at a late stage also increases (especially among Black African residents) and the complexity of HIV support needs is increasing as People Living with HIV (PLWHIV) become older, poorer and develop additional co-morbidities. The Council has committed to tackling HIV via the London-wide 'Fast Track Cities' programme and the '50 Steps' Health and Wellbeing Strategy and wishes to work with the market across London to develop its thinking prior to setting up new HIV and BBV Prevention and Support Framework on behalf of all Local Authorities and health partners across London. Commissioners will be holding a market engagement event for providers to share their thinking; and obtain providers' views. This feedback may be used to shape the procurement strategy and creation of the procurement documentation. The event is open to any provider with relevant experience. It will be held online via Microsoft Teams on: - 10th October 2024 from 12:00 to 13:00 Once you have successfully registered, you will receive an MS teams invite to the event after the 7th October 2024. Please only contact the Authority if you have not received an invite after the 7th October 2024. To register, you must express your interest to attend by completing the Eventbrite Registration using this link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/1033413957967?aff=oddtdtcreator Please note that attendance is limited to two people from each organisation. Providers must register their interest no later than 17:00 7th October 2024. This stage of the project is not part of a formal procurement process and the Authority is not committing, at this stage, to carrying out such a process. Participation or non-participation in the pre-procurement market engagement process shall not prevent any provider participating in a potential future procurement, nor is it intended that any information supplied as part of the pre-procurement process shall place any provider at an advantage in a potential procurement process. This is not a call for competition.
