NHS England (Midlands) are looking for a provider to deliver Women’s Health and Wellbeing Hubs in HMP/YOI Drake Hall and HMP/YOI Foston Hall. The estimated start date for the service is the 1st July 2025. The contract term will be for 3 years with the commissioner having the option to extend for a further 2 years. Lot 1: Following a review of health and social care in women’s prisons, commissioners would like to commission a Gynaecologist/Sexual Consultant led Women’s Health and Wellbeing Hubs in HMP/YOI Drake Hall and HMP/YOI Foston Hall. Commissioners are looking for an experienced provider who is currently providing women’s health services in similar settings or the community.<br/><br/>The aim of the Hub will be to provide a calm trauma informed environment with the appropriate equipment for sexual reproductive service delivery in the secure settings. To provide this service it is expected that there will be recruitment of staff with a particular<br/>interest, training and governance processes with sexual reproductive services. The service will be required to be Gynaecological/Sexual health consultant led.<br/><br/>The aim of the women’s health and wellbeing hubs is to integrate services and ensure parity of care into the community. In addition, the hub will seek to improve patient experience, deliver care closer to the patient, and tackle health inequalities.<br/><br/>The aim of the hub is to intermediary care between primary, secondary and community care.<br/>The core specialties that the service will deliver in house (if not already commissioned within<br/>the current health provision) is:<br/>- Menstrual problems<br/>- Pessary fitting and removal<br/>- Endometriosis<br/>- Polycystic ovaries<br/>- Incontinence care<br/>- Pelvic Pain<br/>- Delivering and/ or developing pathways into Ultrasound, Hysteroscopy, Biopsy and<br/>colposcopy<br/>- Developing care pathways into and referral mechanisms for domestic violence and abuse services.<br/><br/>The contract will be for 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years.<br/>Providers must be able to deliver the service within the budget envelope as follows:<br/>Total contract value is £1,150,000 over a 5 year contract period (3 + 2 years) (£230,000 per annum).<br/><br/>All bids must be submitted by 15:00 on Wednesday15th January 2025.<br/><br/>Further details can be found on the Arden & GEM CSU Atamis (Health Family) e-tendering<br/>portal:<br/>https://health-family.force.com/s/Welcome<br/>Reference C324219
