LiDAR surveys of Upper Dee tributaries

Published

Description

LiDAR surveys of Upper Dee tributaries Lot 1: LiDAR (airborne laser scanning) data and complementary ortho-rectified aerial imagery are needed for selected tributaries and associated floodplain areas in the River Dee catchment in the north-east of Scotland, UK, to inform river restoration planning. LiDAR already exists for the main stem of the Dee and the new tributary data from this survey will be integrated with this to extend our understanding of the river system. A key point of interest is whether the river has moved or been modified from its ‘original’ channel form.
