Provision of supply of stainless-steel marine grade components for underwater structures for the Thames Area.<br/><br/>• Approx.700 wire assemblies over 4 years (2+1+1)<br/><br/>• Wire ropes at specified materials, diameters and lengths ( Stainless steel 12mm – 26mm wire thickness, 5m -15m length, between 3 - 8 ton lifting capacity )<br/><br/>• Fixtures and fittings at specified materials, sizes and configuration ( marine grade stainless steel D shackles of specified sizes, Swaged ends, Spelter Sockets, U-Bolts, Bulldogs, and other similar products)<br/><br/>• QA Certificates to ensure the working load limits are within specification<br/><br/>• Accurate lead times for delivery Lot 1: The opportunity is being administered on Defra’s e-tendering portal:<br/>https://defra-family.force.com/s/Welcome<br/>If you are interested in this tender, please register your interest on the above portal, by 17:00, 17/01/2025. <br/><br/>Government Classification of: Official Sensitive <br/><br/>All weirs in the Thames area which use wire ropes (stainless steel) and suitable shackles to lift and lower gates during operation and maintenance, require routine wire rope replacement. <br/>The replacement requires the manufacture of gate specific wire ropes, built to individual asset specifications of length, thickness, working load limits, ends (e.g. hard eye, swaged studs, fused and tapered) and shackle type. Once manufactured, these must be delivered to the EA Depot for the EA's diving contractor who will install them.<br/><br/>The supplier must have:<br/>• Relevant experience <br/>• Ability to provide QA Certificates to ensure the working load limits are within specification<br/>• Ability to meet the lead times for delivery<br/><br/>The Contractor may subcontract the provision of weir ropes, fixtures and fittings however, it must not affect the Contractor’s ability to fulfil its obligations under the contract. <br/><br/>The following will be provided in the Bidder Pack, which will be published to the suppliers who registered their interest on Defra's e-tendering portal:<br/>•.Procurement process for each item<br/>•.Specification
