The purpose of this Prior Information Notice is to notify the market of the PEACEPLUS Programme’s intention to hold a Pre- market engagement for the PEACEPLUS Arts Across the Genres Tender. This project contributes to the implementation of the Thriving and Peaceful Communities theme under the Belfast PEACEPLUS Local Community Action Plan. To create at least five pieces of original cross community, bottom up and professional artist facilitated pieces of work, through four collaborative projects across the city, each on a North, South, East and West basis. Each project will comprise two cross community pairings linking two similar arts genres. It will include capacity building, arts facilitation and skills development for the future. The fifth project will involve the capturing the live story line to produce a short documentary at the close of the 4 projects. Overall, the projects will showcase the diversity of cultures and heritage across the City, will explore different narratives expressed through different art forms/ genres. Budget £695,744 Participants = 480 (+16 for project 5) Duration: 3 years Pre-Market Engagement Event will be held from 10am- 12pm on Thursday 10th October 2024 in the Banqueting Suite, Belfast City Hall. These sessions are for suppliers who would like to learn more about the PEACEPLUS Arts Across the Genres project. The session will provide information the project requirements, key deliverables and results, the procurement process and the indicative timeframes for the project. Suppliers will need to register by Tuesday 8th October 2024, by emailing peacepluslap@belfastcity.gov.uk Further detail will be issued to registered attendees in advance of the session. The PEACEPLUS Arts Across the Genres project forms parts of the Belfast PEACEPLUS Local Community Action Plan, which is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
