We are seeking suppliers to support our serviced accommodation services for contractors in Birmingham and the wider West Midlands. The opportunity involves providing well-maintained, high-quality accommodation that meets the needs of contractors working in the area. Below are the details of the procurement requirements: Goods/Services to be Procured We are looking for suppliers who can provide serviced accommodation for contractors, which will include: Accommodation Requirements: Fully furnished apartments, houses, or serviced units that meet the comfort and practical needs of contractors. The properties should include essential facilities such as internet access, kitchenettes, and other amenities suitable for long-term stays. Location: Accommodation must be located within Birmingham and the broader West Midlands region, in areas easily accessible for contractors to commute to their work sites. Volumes and Frequency of Supply Volume: We anticipate requiring accommodation for up to [X] contractors at any given time. Frequency: This is an ongoing need, with the requirement for properties potentially fluctuating based on the number of contractors on assignment. The frequency will depend on the specific contracts and projects we are handling at any given time. Specifications, Service Levels, and Quality Standards To ensure the quality of service and satisfaction of contractors, we request that the following standards be met: Property Specifications: Each property should be fully furnished, well-maintained, and provide a comfortable, functional environment suitable for contractors on long-term stays. Essential amenities include: Furnished rooms (bed, desk, storage space) Wi-Fi and internet access Kitchen facilities (microwave, stove, fridge, basic cookware) Laundry facilities (either in-unit or nearby) Cleaning and maintenance services (regular cleaning, prompt maintenance when needed) Service Levels: Timely communication and responsiveness to queries or maintenance requests. Clear and transparent booking and cancellation processes. Flexibility to accommodate varying lengths of stay, from a few weeks to several months. Quality Standards: Properties must adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations. Cleanliness and upkeep of properties must meet high standards at all times. Service providers must ensure that all properties are compliant with local licensing laws and housing regulations. Delivery Locations Accommodation will be required across Birmingham and the West Midlands. Specific locations will be discussed on a case-by-case basis, depending on the requirements of the contractors and the proximity to their work sites. Additional information: Special Contract Terms We anticipate the following special terms: Duration of Contracts: Contracts for accommodation will vary based on the project needs, with both short-term and long-term agreements available. Flexible Payment Terms: Payment terms will be discussed on an individual basis, with the possibility of invoicing either weekly or monthly, depending on the contract length.
