FMI har indgået en rammeaftale vedr. vedligehold og reparation af Travelling Wave Tube Amplifier (”TWTA”) type VZX3505T og VZX3505T-2 som benyttes i Forsvarets Scanter SC40000 og SC40001 radarsystemer, der anvendes i det danske kystradarsystem samt på Søværnets inspektionsskibe- og fartøjer. TWTA er forstærkeren i radaren. Inde i TWTA sidder et TWT-rør som passer specielt hertil.
