Description
This proposal for Sports, Fitness and Play Equipment is a retender of the previous CPC Sports, Fitness and Gym Equipment framework. This iteration has an extended offering including playground and outdoor gym equipment amongst sports equipment and gym equipment. Any resulting framework from this exercise will be available to all further education institutions, universities, sixth forms, academies, schools, museums and other similar organisations who are CPC members https://www.thecpc.ac.uk/members/regions.php and all future members https://www.gov.uk/guidance/get-information-about-schools. Local Authorities may also wish to use the resulting framework when procuring on behalf of Educational Establishments. The tender is also available via our colleagues in other Consortia, including NWUPC https://www.nwupc.ac.uk/our-members and the wider public sector https://www.thecpc.ac.uk/suppliers/eligible-public-sector-bodies.php Lot 1: Sports Equipment The scope for LOT 1 includes the provision of all manner of sport related products. It is expected that suppliers appointed onto this lot will be able to offer some (but they are not expected to provide all) of the following scope, however the list is not exhaustive: • Equipment for specific sports (bats, balls, nets etc) • Accessories (stopwatches, bibs, cones etc) • Strength & resistance equipment • Play equipment • Gymnastics equipment • Health & Fitness equipment • Testing & measurement equipment • Inclusive sports & play equipment • Storage equipment CPC suspect that the suppliers successfully awarded onto this lot will be either manufacturers or resellers, and may provide broad catalogue offerings, or have a more specialised focus. It is intended for the scope to include all manner of sports products suitable for primary schools right up to a professional level. Lot 2: Commercial Fitness and Gym Equipment The scope for LOT 2 includes the acquisition, installation and maintenance of commercial fitness and gym equipment. It is expected that suppliers appointed onto this lot will be able to offer some (but they are not expected to provide all) of the following scope, however the list is not exhaustive: • Cardio equipment • Strength & resistance equipment • Health & fitness equipment • Functional fitness equipment • Inclusive fitness & gym equipment • Storage equipment • Gym fitout and design • Equipment installation, servicing and maintenance CPC suspect that the suppliers successfully awarded onto this lot will be either manufacturers or resellers, and may provide broad catalogue offerings, or have a more specialised focus. It is intended for the scope to include all manner of commercial fitness and gym products suitable for children of at least the age of 11 right up to a professional level Lot 3: Playground and Outdoor Gym Equipment The scope for LOT 3 includes the acquisition, installation and maintenance of playground and outdoor gym equipment. It is expected that suppliers appointed onto this lot will be able to offer some (but they are not expected to provide all) of the following scope, however the list is not exhaustive: • Multi use play systems • Obstacle courses • Climbing equipment • Freestanding playground equipment • Educational play equipment • Inclusive play equipment • Outdoor gym resistance equipment • Outdoor gym cardio equipment • Outdoor gym functional equipment • Inclusive outdoor gym equipment • Servicing and Maintenance of playground and outdoor gym equipment CPC suspect that the suppliers successfully awarded onto this lot will be either manufacturers or resellers, and may provide broad catalogue offerings, or have a more specialised focus. It is intended for the scope to include all manner of playground equipment, outdoor gym equipment suitable for children of at least the age of 12 right up to a professional level, and outdoor gym equipment suitable for children between 5-11 years old.
