Curo wish to procure a 4 year Framework Agreement for the delivery of new build construction and development projects via direct award and mini competition.Under the Framework Agreement the following entities will have the option to call-off contracts with individual framework contractors as and when required: (i) any entity within the same group of companies as Curo Places Limited from time to time (a "Curo Group Member"); (ii) any entity or joint venture company that Curo Places Limited or any other Curo Group Member holds an interest in from time to time; and (iii) any other Social Housing Provider in the UK, from time to time. "Social Housing Provider" for this purpose means any provider of social housing and includes, without limitation, registered housing providers, local authorities and ALMOs. A list of the current Social Housing Providers can be found by visiting: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/current-registered-providers-of-social-housing. Lot 1: Curo wish to procure a Framework Agreement pursuant to which it is envisaged that contracts will be awarded to contractors within the Framework for the carrying out of a range of new build construction and development projects. The Framework Agreement will give Curo the option to "call off" projects under the Framework as and when required, either via "direct selection" of a contractor or via a "mini-competition" between the framework contractors. The proposed Framework Agreement will be in place for a maximum period of 4 years, however individual contracts called-off under the Framework Agreement may be for a period of greater than 4 years and/or may continue beyond the 4 year term of the Framework Agreement. Under the Framework Agreement the following entities will have the option to call-off contracts with individual framework contractors as and when required: (i) any entity within the same group of companies as Curo Places Limited from time to time (a "Curo Group Member"); (ii) any entity or joint venture company that Curo Places Limited or any other Curo Group Member holds an interest in from time to time; and (iii) any other Social Housing Provider in the UK, from time to time. "Social Housing Provider" for this purpose means any provider of social housing and includes, without limitation, registered housing providers, local authorities and ALMOs. Such Social Housing Providers will only be entitled to call off under the Framework Agreement if Curo consents.Applicants should note that the estimated value of the Framework Agreement stated in this Notice is based on Curo’s current anticipated requirements. This value may increase if other Social Housing Providers decide to join and call off under the Framework Agreement.
