Description
Bank of England Framework Agreement for the Technology Support Services Framework to support the Bank's critical functions and processes that rely upon the Technology infrastructure and systems the Bank has in place. The framework will be in place for four years and is a series of zero-commit Agreements with Technology suppliers. Requirements will be called off over the Term and as such the contract value represents a maximum spend over this period, on this Framework. Lot 1: SAP Suppliers that retain high levels of skills in SAP, in particular Business Warehouse. The Bank retains a highly configured estate with complex and high value logistics Lot 2: Cloud Suppliers that can deliver services covering multi cloud environments and the interoperability between them and to on premise and shared data centres. Suppliers would also need to have an understanding about consumption models, reserved instances, cloud license management and FinOps. The Bank has a variety of data centres and cloud service providers and will seek to review this over time. It is keen to improve consumption based spend and reporting and to be able to make strategic TCO decisions on location of workloads. Lot 3: Enterprise Suppliers that are experienced in managing Enterprise Systems, including ERP solutions, M365 and D365. The Bank will be seeking to understand where the supply chain can take a more outcome-based approach to service provision Lot 4: Data Suppliers that have strong and established development and engineering experience in the Data space in addition to Data science, architecture, strategy, and engineering capabilities. Lot 5: Networks Suppliers that can provide telecoms (internal and external) skills, first as an augmentation model but may also look to identify and source small parts of the whole scope by the end of the contract. Suppliers that can provide capability in supporting network and infrastructure appliances and that can consult and advise on evolution of telecoms and networking, so the Bank can look to leverage future technologies to deliver its services over multiple sites. Lot 6: Infrastructure Suppliers that can demonstrate capability managing database services and can provide TCO models as well as new approaches to Technical Debt. Suppliers that can demonstrate capability managing Server Operating Systems. Suppliers that can demonstrate capability managing Storage and Virtualisation Systems. Lot 7: Architecture and Consultancy Suppliers that have a strong track record in providing Business and Enterprise Architecture in relation to Technology and business strategy. Lot 8: Service Integrators Suppliers that are comfortable operating Large Change, transformation or managed services solutions across the Technology stack. Lot 9: Recruit Train Deploy Suppliers that can provide Recruit, Train and Deploy services.
