The Nuclear Department require a new Liquid Ion Chromatography instrument (LIC) to support their Nuclear Reactor Course. The Nuclear Department's current Liquid Ion Chromatography (LIC) instrument (Dionex ICS-2000) is greater than 15 years old and has since been superseded by two newer models, the penultimate one becoming obsolete two years ago. The current system is unreliable and requires significant operator management and time to make it operational.
