Description
St Vincent’s University Hospital requires the provision of a managed laundry service provider, who will be responsible for maintaining, providing and anticipating need for a range of processes and functions, including, but not limited to the following: 1. Managed Service - Linen; 2. Managed Service - Scrub Suits; 3. Managed Service - Workwear; 4. Managed Service - Dust Mats; 5. Managed Service - Patient / Residents Clothing; 6. Managed Service - Miscellaneous Items; The Service Provider providing the Laundry Services is to provide all equipment, vehicles and plant necessary to provide the Laundry Services to St. Vincent’s University Hospital. The service requirements and standards to be met are outlined in Appendix 1 to the Request for Tender document ('RFT'). Any contract that may result from this Competition (the “Services Contract”) will be issued for a term of 48 months (“the Term”). The Contracting Authority reserves the right to extend the Term for a period or periods of up to 12 months with a maximum of two such extension or extensions on the same terms and conditions, subject to the Contracting Authority’s obligations at law. Dates for contract award and acceptance listed below are indicative only. As per 2.2 of the RFT, SVUH will facilitate Tenderers by permitting an inspection of the Contracting Authority’s premises. A site visit to view SVUH premises or facilities at Elm Park, Dublin 4, D04 T6F4 shall be organised on 29/11/2024 between the hours of 10:00 and 12:00. Tenderers wishing to make an appointment to avail of this opportunity must confirm their attendance by contacting Zoi Karfi at zoikarfi@svhg.ie by 26/11/2024. Attendance at the Contracting Authority’s premises will be subject to compliance with local security and health and safety arrangements. Tenderers are recommended to avail of the provision of a Site Visit to assist them in completing their tender proposal. A maximum of two (2) people per Tenderer can attend. A Site Visit will be facilitated by SVUH on the dates specified above only. Note that Site Visits are OPTIONAL.
