The requirement is for a removals service for Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust, split into two lots. Lot 1 is for a furniture removals service supporting various Trust departments moving from their present locations in Aylesbury to a brand new building located on the Trust’s Manor House Site in Aylesbury; these moves are expected to take place during December 2013. Lot 2 is for an on-going service for furniture removals, storage and disposal over the next three years extendable for a further one or two years up to a maximum of five years. These future requirements will typically be relatively small projects. They might involve, for example, moving less than 10 people from one office location to another and would normally involve one or two 3.5 tonne vehicles at the most. These smaller moves would normally be between two locations in the same geographical area, mostly in Oxfordshire but occasionally in Buckinghamshire and, less frequently in Wiltshire. A draft specification for Lot 1 is supplied with this PQQ, but the final specification for Lot 1 and a specification for Lot 2 will be supplied with the tender documents. Organisations may bid for either or both lots; but they must specify, when prompted in the PQQ, for which lot or lots they intend to bid.
