Description

HIE requires a competent and professional cleaning contractor to provide a comprehensive cleaning service throughout the premises at The Enterprise Centre (HIE Lochgilphead Office), Kilmory Industrial Estate, Lochgilphead, Argyll, PA31 8SH, delivered in a safe, compliant, sustainable and efficient manner. Key requirements include: Routine cleaning of office accommodation, meeting rooms, kitchens, toilets and shower areas. Periodic cleaning, including window cleaning. Sanitary provision. Compliance tasks including legionella and fire safety. Lot 1: It is anticipated that the contract will be let from December 2024 for a period of 2 years, unless terminated in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Conditions, with HIE having the option to extend for a period or periods together not exceeding 2 years following the Initial Term. The initial 12 month budget currently available to deliver this service is between GBP15,000 and GBP17,500 (excluding VAT). This figure is inclusive of Travel and Subsistence (T&S) all, good quality sanitary consumables (including but are not limited to: paper towels, toilet rolls, liquid soap, washing-up liquid, sponges, bin liners, air fresheners and sanitary vending consumables), equipment and chemicals, PPE and costs relating to administration including Disclosure Scotland checks. It should be noted that travel time will not be chargeable as a separate activity and should be considered when costing Rates. Rates submitted are fixed for year one. Thereafter the Pricing Schedule may be reviewed annually in accordance with the procedure set down in Clause 17 of the Terms and conditions to reflect demonstrable increases in the Contractor's actual cost of raw materials, employee costs (including changes to the Real Living Wage published by Living Wage Scotland and the Resolution Foundation) or other third-party costs. The total estimated value for the maximum contract period is GBP80,000.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in Regulations 8, 9 and 10 of The Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.
