Provision of Consultancy to Scope Viability of In-House Portal Development

The Trust has developed an Outline Business Case to procure an Electronic Patient Care Record system (ePCR) to replace our current Digi pens/paper forms. In order to examine every available delivery option for the new ePCR system, the Trust is seeking professional consultancy support to scope the viability of developing an additional option to that already shortlisted within the current business case; namely, to further develop the Welsh Clinical Portal (WCP) Out of Hospital to provide a bespoke solution potentially available to all NHS organisations in Wales. This will include consideration of the minimum viable product and functionality required to replace the current digipens when the existing contract for the provision of these expires on 31st March 2021.
