Description

The Contract is for the upgrading of an existing temporary decant facility to accommodate NIFRS Regional Command Centre (RCC) services for a two year period. It includes: • Services connections from the main HQ building across the car park via an underground trench. • Contractor’s designed automation and fabric upgrade of the existing entrance gate to the NIFRS HQ site. • Improved M and E services to the decant building to serve the temporary RCC. • Internal redecoration to walls and ceiling with local patch repairs and replacement. • New floor finishes throughout. • Some internal reconfiguration of room layouts. • Structural upgrade of existing first floor with the introduction of additional joists and noggins. • Transfer of existing NIFRS equipment and furniture from existing HQ to the RCC decant building. • Liaison with Building Control as required to achieve Statutory Approval of the works.
