Description

The contractor will take over the drone delivery service for medicines and medical commodities in Kasungu and expand these operations to ensure continued functioning of the district's healthcare system as it struggles to cope with the ongoing pandemic. Additionally, the contractor will support global objectives to increase education and access to technology by fostering knowledge transfer through tailored training of Malawians to use drones for a variety of purposes, thereby driving in-country capacity development and ‘homegrown’ innovation and entrepreneurship. Additionally, the contractor will support global objectives to increase education and access to technology by fostering knowledge transfer through tailored training of Malawians to use drones for a variety of purposes, thereby driving in-country capacity development and ‘homegrown’ innovation and entrepreneurship. the contractor is reponsible for the following work packages: 1) Flight Operations in Kasungu District; 2) Develop a tailored Training Kit including modules for BVLOS flight operations; 3a) Evaluation of other suitable locations for the creation of a hub for multipurpose use cases; 3b) Proof of concept for the transport of dangerous goods.
