Description

The Northern Ireland Precision Biomarkers and Therapeutics Consortium (NIPBT) is an industry-focused partnership of Life and Health Science (LHS) companies and Academia, aligned to NI Health and Economy strategies. By addressing critical commercial gaps, the Consortium's aim is to transform the productivity of each Commercial Partner and the broader LHS sector in NI. <br /> <br />NIPBT will deploy the grant funding to collaboratively develop R&D capabilities that industry partners require. <br />Queen’s is leading and hosting this research hub, as such is tasked with procuring and installing the required equipment within the Health Sciences Building, Queen’s University Belfast, 97 Lisburn Road, Belfast, BT9 7 AE.<br /><br />As part of this initiative Queen’s University of Belfast wishes to procure an advanced high content imager capable of laser based fluorescent imaging, wide field, multiplexing, 3D confocal imaging and live cell imaging (including the ability to maintain, temperature, humidity and CO2 levels compatible with prolonged live-cell imaging). Equipment should be capable of high throughput screening and modular design with integration of plate stacker for optimal hands-off user input. <br /><br />• Please note: - The execution of this tender & contract will be solely dependent on grant funding being received, which is estimated to be confirmed in January 2025. <br />• No award will be made, or orders issued until the grant funding has been confirmed. If grant funding is not secured, the market will be notified, and this procurement exercise will be stood down.<br /><br />
