Description

The Norwegian Hospital Procurement Western Division, on behalf of Bergen Health Trust, intends to enter into a framework agreement with Implantscan AS for modular resection prosthesis for 2 years with an option for an extension for 1+1 year. The contract concerns modular resection prosthesis with silver coating and practically full rotational freedom. The prostheses will be used for tumour surgery and for reconstruction during replacement for loss of major skeletal parts for other reasons at the Orthopaedic Clinic at Haukeland Universitetssjukehus [Haukeland University Hospital]. Objections to the intention to sign a contract for modular resection prostheses with Implantscan should be directed to the Norwegian Hospital Procurement Trust, c/o advisor Ulrik Bø Bersvendsen by 16.01.2023. Lot 1: The contract comprises a complete prostheses system for all of the body's major limbs. Furthermore, different strain variants can be connected to the extraosseous modular system. Motorised expanding prostheses (mechanical expansion), and the possibility of expansion of the residual bone tissue associated with the prosthesis (biological expansion) for use in growing children, is also included in the contract. Instrumentation and surgical equipment is also included. It is particularly important to the contracting authority that the system is complete and compatible. The product must have the possibility of practically free rotation between the stem and the extraosseous modular major prosthesis at insertion. The prosthesis system must also have infection protection, incorporated in extraosseus surfaces based on silver alloy The supplier must also be able to provide a Scandinavian speaking product specialist during procedures where the prostheses are used. The contract will be signed without a prior competition notice as after investigating the market, the Norwegian Hospital Procurement Trust is not aware of any other service provider who offers the same or equivalent product. Legal basis for procurement without a competition is in accordance with the Public Procurement Regulations § 13-4 first paragraph letter b second point. This prior information notice is published in accordance with the provision in § 21-5. Objections to the intention to sign a contract for modular resection prostheses with Implantscan should be directed to the Norwegian Hospital Procurement Trust, c/o advisor Ulrik Bø Bersvendsen by 16.01.2013.
