23/SJM/089 Power Electronics Training EquipmentPower Electronics equipment is required for training students in the areas of Power Engineering and Power Electronics and DrivesThe equipment required will be part of our new Renewable Energy and Power Laboratory. The equipment to be used to train groups of 4-6 students on each hardware module. Each hardware module will be used as an individual teaching station covering a specified set of experiments, and therefore we require each of them to stand alone or be constructed as a bench top unit.The required equipment consists of two Lots: Lot 1 - Power EngineeringLot 2- Power Electronics and DrivesSuppliers may apply for one or both lots and these will be awarded seperately. Optionally, we may purchase additional individual hardware modules, or a second set, but this is subject to budgetary constraints. Sellers may offer options for modules and additional discounts for the additional set. See Specification for mandatory and desirable requirements Lot LOT 2 Power Electronics & Drives: LOT 2 Power Electronics & Drives The Power Electronics & Drives requirement consists of the intent of purchase of one set of hardware modules for training to enable several laboratory-based experiments to be held in this area, including a range of power converters and the control of various types of electrical machines. Optionally, we may purchase additional individual hardware modules, This is subject to budgetary constraints. Sellers may offer options for hardware modules and additional discounts for an additional set. See specification for mandatory and desirable requirements
