Voluntary ex-ante transparency notice: 3 Ultrasound devices for the Clinic of Cardiology and the Children's Clinic - St. Olavs Hospital Trust.

Description

The contracting authority intends to procure: - 2 ultrasound devices for the Clinic of Cardiology - St. Olav’s Hospital Trust. - 1 ultrasound device for the Children's Clinic - St. Olavs Hospital Trust. Lot 1: St. Olavs Hospital Trust will purchase Vivid E95 v206 ultrasound devices supplied by GE Vingmed Ultrasound AS; 2 for the Clinic of Cardiology and 1 for the Children's Clinic. The estimated value of this procurement is NOK 3,300,000 excluding VAT. The procurement is being made pursuant to §13-4 (b) of the Public Procurement Regulations, which is due to the fact that the ultrasound devices must be able to be connected to the hospital's ViewPoint system and must be able to perform full functional analyses in Echopac (existing analysis tool). Only Vivid E95 from GE (high-end device) can deliver a complete system for this at the present time. Other tenderers can be connected to ViewPoint, but without full functionality for functional analyses, as is possible with the GE device.
