The scope of this category covers products used in laparoscopic abdominal surgery, gynaecological endoscopic procedures, and consumable products used in multispecialty open surgery not exclusive to abdominal surgery. Lot 1: Clips & Clip Appliers Lot 2: Advanced Energy Devices Lot 3: Surgical Stapling Devices Lot 4: Laparoscopic Instruments and Accessories Lot 5: Trocars Lot 6: Gynaecological Endoscopy Lot 7: Laparoscopic Kits Lot 8: Servicing & Maintenance of Laparoscopic Equipment Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of £115,134,898 to £228,151,079 in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement. The estimated value over the total Framework Agreement term (2+2 year term) is anticipated to be approximately £ £460,539,592.00 to £ £912,604,316.00 The Framework Agreement between NHS Supply Chain and successful suppliers will reserve the right to purchase the same or similar supplies and/or services from suppliers not appointed to the Framework Agreement at its sole discretion. NHS Supply Chain expects to provide successful suppliers with the opportunity to offer additional savings to customers through the provision of discounted pricing, value added offerings and commitment/bulk buy initiatives. NHS Supply Chain intends to enter into arrangements under which it will be entitled to purchase supplies and/or services which it will make available for purchase by 1) any NHS Trust; 2) any other NHS entity; 3) any government department, agency or other statutory body and/or 4) any private sector entity active in the UK healthcare sector. Only NHS Supply Chain can order from the Framework Agreement and enter into contracts under it. Lot 1: Clips & Clip Appliers This lot is for the supply of Clips & Clip Appliers, including but not limited to the below product ranges; Clip Appliers Open Clip Appliers Laparoscopy Clips Open Clips Laparoscopy Additional information: Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of £10,052,331.00 to £12,062,797.00 in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement. Lot 2: Advanced Energy Devices This lot is for the supply of Advanced Energy Devices, including but not limited to the below product ranges; Advanced Bipolar Energy Bipolar Energy Argon Energy Ultra-Sonic Energy Dual Energy (Advanced Bipolar and Ultrasonic) Plasma Energy Additional information: Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of £31,055,087.00 to £37,266,105.00 in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement. Lot 3: Surgical Stapling Devices This lot is for the supply of Surgical Stapling Devices, including but not limited to the below product ranges; Open Stapling Laparoscopic Stapling Circular Stapling Haemorrhoidal Stapling Multi-Purpose Stapling System (Open, Laparoscopic, Circular) Purse String Clamp Additional information: Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of £25,993,929.00 to £31,192,715.00 in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement. Lot 4: Laparoscopic Instruments and Accessories This lot is for the supply of Laparoscopic Instruments and Accessories, including but not limited to the below product ranges; Accessories Single Use Instrumentation Electrosurgery Gamma Probes Morcellation Needle Products Retraction Products Specimen Retrieval Bags Suction Irrigation Telescopic & Light Devices Additional information: Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of £18,560,452.00 to £22,272,543.00 in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement. Lot 5: Trocars This lot is for the supply of Trocars, including but not limited to the below product ranges; Single use trocars Reusable and hybrid trocars Additional information: Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of £18,218,796.00 to £21,862,555.00 in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement. Lot 6: Gynaecological Endoscopy This lot is for the supply of Gynaecological Endoscopy, including but not limited to the below product ranges; Endometrial Ablation System Hysteroscopy Uterine Manipulator Uterine Tissue Removal System Additional information: Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of £11,254,303.00 to £13,494,364.00 in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement. Lot 7: Laparoscopic Kits This lot is for the supply of Laparoscopic Kits. Additional information: Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of £0.00 to £45,000,000.00 in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement. Lot 8: Servicing & Maintenance of Laparoscopic Equipment This lot is for the Servicing & Maintenance of Laparoscopic Equipment. Additional information: Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of £0.00 to £45,000,000.00 in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement.
