The Norwegian Police Shared Services (PFT) has carried out a RFI on behalf of the Norwegian police for average speedometers with and without video recorders for permanent mounting on the Norwegian Police's vehicles. Cf. Doffin reference 2023-695548 and TED reference 2023/S 054-158192. The purpose of the RFI was to receive an update from the market on relevant products and potential suppliers that can cover the police's need for this product area. Responses to the RFI and the contracting authority's other information of the market indicate that there is currently only one supplier that can deliver and cover the need for supplementing and completing the instrument park of average speedometers with and without video recorders for police vehicles. The Norwegian Police Shared Services (PFT) therefore intends to extend the framework agreement with the current supplier for up to 2 years. The expected total need will amount to up to 75 average speedometers per annum.
