The overall objective of the project states that ‘food security has improved in three African countries - Ethiopia, Malawi, and Sierra Leone - and a contribution has been made to achieving SDG 2 and the global nutrition goals. At the regional level, local governments are aware of the sustainable impact of multi-sectoral hunger reduction and are assuming responsibilities in the joint fight against hunger’ Lot 433798: Consultant for Nutrition Smart Communities Project Baseline Surveys in Ethiopia, Malawi and Sierra Leone The task of the consultancy is the evaluation of the current funding cycle (phase II) of Land for Life. The evaluation should meet the donor requirements for accountability purposes and inform the design of Land for Life phase III. It entails a desk review, a field phase, and the elaboration of an inception report, country notes, and a final report.Die Deutsche Welthungerhilfe e.
