EEA 059-2021 Production and delivery of dinners to institutions

Description

Bergen Municipality with joint venture partners would like to enter into a new contract for the production and delivery of dinners to retirement and nursing homes. Lot 1: The contract is for the production and delivery of just under 790,000 dinner-sized portions a year. In addition a second course (dessert). The contract will cover dinner product for institutions that belong to Bergen Municipality and Askøy Municipality. In addition to the stated public contracting authority, the following private institutions are included in the contract: The welfare centre Bergen Indremisjon, Betanien rehabilitation and nursing home, Sogno Konows senter, Solsletten nursing home, and Stiftelsen St. Johanneshjemmet The institutions must receive deliveries of sous-vide produced dinners or cook-cool produced dinners, if this is necessary to ensure a good final product (e.g. for spicy food). The dinners must be delivered cold. Due to changes in the institution structure, as well as renovations and constructions, there will be changes to deliveries in the contract period, see annex 1c. The contracting authority will also have an option to extend the contract to more nursing homes, activity centres, sheltered accommodation flats, and senior centre, see annex 7. Parts of the municipality's need for dinner production will be met through a public-public collaboration, cf. PPR, section 3-3.
