Am 04.11.23 kam es im Müllheizkraftwerk (MHKW) Solingen zu einem Branderignis. Der Ausbruch des Feuers wurde auf Ebene + 12,50 m lokalisiert . Am Kesselhaupttraggerüst sind in Achse E1 zwischen Ebene + 12,50 m und Ebene + 32,90 m Schäden an den Verbandsdiagonalen und horizontalen Riegeln festgestellt worden. Die sekundäre Stahlkonstruktion der Bühen sowie Geländer und Gitterrostbeläge wurden in den Ebenen + 9,30 m bis + 37,00 m beschädigt. Der Korrosionsschutz der Stahlkonstruktion muss an einigen Stellen erneuert werden.
