NHBSA's ODP provides the public with access to the following types of data: - English Prescribing Data - Prescriptions Cost Analysis Data - Secondary Care Medicines Data We require developers with the following skills/experience: - CKAN experience - API experience - Custom development - UX and UI improvements - Backend & Frontend development work - Compliance with NHS design standards - Compliance with GDS accessibility standards Statements of work will be agreed with the successful supplier. Where the supplied staff will work No specific location (for example they can work remotely) Why the work is being done This engagement aligns to NHSBSA's aim to deliver a managed service for Open Data and wish to continue to develop and enhance the existing CKAN Open Data Portal to ensure end users get the most from the portal's functionality and capabilities. The business problem you need to solve To continue to ensure that the NHSBSA Open Data Portal is NHS Design Standard and GDS accessilibity compliant when implementing new data functionality across the API, Data Explorer and database features. There is always a element of backend HTML and CKAN development as well as front end design changes for users. Our aim is to make the NHSBSA Open Data Portal the home of all open data across the organisation. Development work must be able to delivered under this contract without interrupting the live service of the ODP.
