2. The purpose is to establish legal service providers to ensure capacity and sufficient coverage of specialisms, which we will draw upon, as and when required, to provide the legal services, advice and guidance that Hanover requires. 1. Suitably qualified, experienced, and professional legal service providers are invited to tender for the provision of Hanover’s Legal Services which will be procured in lots Lot 1: General Legal, Contractual, Procurement, Construction, Acquisitions & Conveyancing (including shared ownership), General Legal, Contractual, Procurement, Construction, Acquisitions & Conveyancing (including shared ownership), including but not restricted to: The provision of general legal advice relating to services provided by Hanover The provision of legal advice specific to construction contract dispute resolution Work and advice relating to procurement and contract issues Conveyancing work and advice in dealing with related issues Transfer of new build housing developments to other housing providers Sale of property through disposal strategy Agreements relevant to disposals Work in relation to new build development projects including involvement in preparation of Section 75 agreements, Collateral Warranties, Novation Agreements etc. Outright sale of tranche sales of shared ownership Any other Legal Requirements (not covered by the other lots) Lot 2: Court Work, Court Work, including but not restricted to: Advice and work on tenancy related matters including breach of tenancy, legal access to properties, housing management policies, alternative tenures / models Advice on complaints management involving bodies such as SPSO , PRHP etc Court work including raising court actions for tenancy breach and defending actions raised against Hanover or its employees Income recovery (including both current and former tenant rent arrears, recharges and any other debt owed to Hanover) Anti-social behaviour (including ASBOs, interdicts and possession) Guidance on the legislation on the private rented sector Pursuing court actions raised by Hanover against third parties Preparation of leases / management agreements / shared ownership occupancy agreements Factoring – third tier tribunal representation etc. Delivery of legal documents Lot 3: Governance, Regulation, Financial Management and Charity Governance, Regulation, Financial Management and Charity, including but not restricted to: Advice relating to governance issues including changes in status, legislation and guidance notes Advice on Company law Advice on related matters and issues, including funding / finance / banking Production and assistance with regards to financial legal paperwork for large loans with lenders and with regards to financial paperwork to refinance loans with lenders Standard Security work Setting up and managing subsidiaries Support and advice in relation to changing Company Rules Lot 4: Employment Law Issues, beyond the scope of our current Legal Expenses Insurance (LEI), Employment Law Issues, beyond the scope of our current Legal Expenses Insurance (LEI), including but not restricted to: Advice re compliance of employment policies and practices, TUPE, dispute resolution, grievance and disciplinary issues, pensions, settlement agreements, case law and good practice Work relating to employment tribunals and employment appeals tribunals
