The key objective of the LNER catering logistics contract is to identify a supply partner who is intuitive to the needs of our customers and our business. LNER seeks to deliver an innovative and dynamic contract which provides a customer centric end to end catering solution, while optimising commercial performance in a continually evolving environment. In undertaking this process it is LNER’s desire that the end result will be an agreement with a supply partner who can not only facilitate, but can help shape the evolution of the catering proposition to exceed the expectations of our customers both now and in the future. LNER’s aspiration is to look at an open book cost+ agreement with the supply partner who will be able to deliver a customer focused proposition and be the central focal point of our catering operations. • food – retail proposition for our standard class service, • first class – complimentary hot food offer – via your own CPU or in partnership with another provider, • delivery of retail stock and cooked food to our service centres. Delivery of orders from the service centres to the trains onboard — will take ownership and operational accountability of the service centres for LNER.
