Description
The East Riding of Yorkshire Council has over 150 sites, with a variety of catering appliances, of varying size, type and complexity. The contract will cover the periodic inspection, servicing and maintenance of catering equipment that are the responsibility of the East Riding of Yorkshire Council, in order to meet its requirements under the following legislation/standards: The Health and Safety at Work Act, The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations, Electricity at Work Act, The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations, Building Regulations Part J, Control of Pollution (Oil storage) Regulations, and Environment Protection Act. Lot 1: Gas Catering Equipment The maintenance, periodic inspection and servicing of 423 items of Natural Gas/LPG catering equipment and 90 gas proving systems in various operational council properties located within the geographical boundaries of the East Riding of Yorkshire. A small number of installations/ modifications/ additions may also be required under this contract Lot 2: Electrical Catering Equipment The maintenance of approx. 400 items of electrical catering equipment in various operational council properties located within the geographical boundaries of the East Riding of Yorkshire. A small number of installations/ modifications/ additions may also be required under this contract. Lot 3: Refrigeration Equipment The maintenance, periodic inspection and servicing of 143 items of Kitchen Refrigeration equipment in various operational council properties located within the geographical boundaries of the East Riding of Yorkshire. Annual storage of emergency/ re-usable equipment is also required for this Lot. A small number of installations/ modifications/additions may also be required under this contract. Lot 4: Specialist Combination Ovens The maintenance, periodic inspection and servicing of 112 items of Rational Gas/Electric combination ovens in various operational council properties located within the geographical boundaries of the East Riding of Yorkshire. A small number of installations/ modifications/ additions may also be required under this contract. Lot 5: Tea Boilers/ Water Chillers The maintenance, periodic inspection and servicing of 169 Tea Boilers and 80 Water Chillers in various operational council properties located within the geographical boundaries of the East Riding of Yorkshire. A small number of installations/ modifications/ additions may also be required under this contract.
