Which phase the project is in Live Existing team The specialist will be working within an Agile squad and will be working with the Support engineers as well as the back office engineering capability. For the time not in Manchester Hub it is expected that the resource is able to work remotely using DWP provided kit. The specialist will be working as part of the internal capability deploying a cohesive Network automation entity. Using TSNA and TSAC as appropriate driving improvements in the stability and consistency of the DWP Network. DWP IS SEEKING A 2 YEAR CONTRACT WITH AN INITIAL COMMITMENT OF 1 YEAR. Where the supplied staff will work North West England Who the organisation using the products or services is DWP Why the work is being done "DWP are looking for a BMC accredited specialist in both TrueSight Network Automation and Automation Console. The specialist will be working as part of the internal capability deploying a cohesive Network automation entity. The business problem you need to solve "Drive up adoption rates for the usage of TSNA across all Network equipment in use across its Hybrid estate. To ensure that products which assist with the Automation of Network policies, Configurations and associated backups run effectively. There is also a need for maintenance and upgrading of the current platform to ensure stability and ensure that the most up to date software is available for DWP." First user type: "As a Service Owner I need to understand that my service is operating efficiently. As a network engineer I can ensure that my baseline policies are compliant so that there is consistency across all relevant network equipment. As a network service owner I can be sure that all network policies are backed up efficiently so that I can regress to a known good state should I need to. As a network product owner I can drive further automation of backups and policy alignment using the TSNA product so that I can reduce manual overhead. This product will not be used by the citizen and solely used within the Digital back office estate" Questions and Clarifications 0. 1. After reading the documentation, I couldn't find the answering section. Can we use the right-side table where the questions are listed? Also, do you require only yes/no answers, or is a more detailed explanation needed? 2. I see that a Security Check is required. Our consulting team is based in the EU and is considering relocation for this project. Would that be acceptable? 3. We have extensive experience with the BMC platform but lack specific project experience with "TrueSight Network Automation" and "TrueSight Automation Console." Is it mandatory to have 3+ years of experience with these tools? Can we also submit the CV of one of our experienced BMC consultants? 4. Where can we find the answering section about pricing? 1. Please see 'Attachment 3: Responses to Essential and Nice-to-have skills and experience', There is a text box for Supplier Responses, where you can provide your answers, this is postioned at the end of the list of questions. 2. In order to achieve the required SC clearance, you need to have resided in the UK for a minimum three out of the past five years . 3. The level of expertise required is a minuim of 3 years experience of "TrueSight Network Automation" and "TrueSight Automation Console."
