NHS Frimley ICB ("the Commissioner") sought to commission provision to provide Adult Carers Support Services. The service is varied and is tailored to the needs of each individual carer. The focus is on giving carers accurate and up-to-date information on anything from disability aids to benefits claims as well as emotional support. Running special support groups, act as carers' advocates, liaise with Social Services, GPs, hospitals and the Benefits Agency amongst others and offer free counselling to carers by way of qualified voluntary counsellors. The Contract Award Notice (Intention to Award) previously published on FTS is: 2024/S 000-041065 The Contract commenced on 1st April 2025 expiring 31st March 2026 (contract length one year + optional one year extension). The full expected lifetime of the contract value (one year + optional one year extension) is £125,784.00. This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of Corrigendum Notice to Contract Award Notice (Intention to Award). This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. This contract has now been formally awarded using direct award process C.
