County Durham Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service. The Service aims to enable individuals to become 'free from their dependence' and reduce the harm caused by substance misuse to families, communities, and society as a whole. The Service is underpinned by an emphasis on the local 'think family' approach, helping to support individuals through their recovery process, reducing vulnerabilities, safeguarding and risk within the wider context of their family unit, as appropriate. Lot 1: The Service aims to enable individuals to become 'free from their dependence' and reduce the harm caused by substance misuse to families, communities, and society as a whole. The Service is underpinned by an emphasis on the local 'think family' approach, helping to support individuals through their recovery process, reducing vulnerabilities, safeguarding and risk within the wider context of their family unit, as appropriate. Durham County Council are intending to award a contract to an existing provider following Direct Award C (under PSR) for the period 1st August 2024 - 30th September 2025 with a value of £20,012,171
